Daily Afternoon Dismissal

This school year we are once again going to implement a staggered dismissal based on transportation method, rather than grade level.

Dismissal Schedule:

2:10 p.m. Car riders in grade KG and their carpools

2:12 p.m. All walkers
        - If meeting an adult on campus they are to go to the rear pavilion.
        - If not meeting an adult on campus they may walk on their own.

2:14 p.m. All SCPS bus riders

2:16 p.m. Car riders in grades 1 - 5

2:18 p.m. All daycare riders and extended day students

How you can help:

Walkers - If your student is a walker AND you are meeting your student on campus, please wait under the covered pavilion at the rear of the campus.

Car Riders - Once you see the solid white line dividing our car line into 2 lanes, please stay to the right if you are picking up students who are in Kindergarten or if you have Kindergarten students in your carpool. Please stay to the left of the line if you are ONLY picking up students in grades 1 - 5. Remember, students in grades 1- 5 who do not ride with Kindergarten students will not be dismissed from class until 2:16 p.m.

Changes in Dismissal - Please write a note to your child's teacher if there are changes in the method of dismissal.
