Mission Statement

The mission of the Seminole County Public Schools is to ensure that all Early Childhood Program and Pre-K through Grade 12 students acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be productive citizens in our great country and in the global economy.

Correction to Calendar

Attention Parents: There was a misprint in the SCPS Calendar & Parent Guide which was recently sent home with students. There will be school on Friday, January 9, 2015, and school will be closed on Monday, January, 19, 2015. We apologize for the misprint.

NEW Parent Notification System

Red Bug now has a NEW Parent Notification System which can send out important information through phone messages, email and text.

Parents and Guardians of registered Red Bug students can enroll in the text alert feature by texting JOIN to 56360, standard text message fees apply.

Daily Afternoon Dismissal

Dismissal Schedule:
 How you can help:
2:10 p.m. Car riders in grade KG and their carpools Once you see the solid white line dividing our
car line into 2 lanes, stay to the right if you are
picking up students in Kindergarten.
2:12 p.m. All walkers       
 If meeting an adult on campus they are to go
to the rear pavilion.
If not meeting an adult on campus they may
walk on their own.
2:14 p.m. All SCPS bus riders  
2:16 p.m. Car riders in grades 1 - 5   Please stay to the left of the line if you are ONLY
picking up students in grades 1 - 5, until 2:16pm,
then you may use both lanes.
2:18 p.m. All daycare riders & extended day students
