The Ladybug Loop: Connecting Our Families

November 30, 2025

Principal's Spotlight

Red Bug families,

We hope you and your families enjoyed a relaxing week off! We’re excited to finish Quarter Two and wrap up our first semester strong.

Next week, students will participate in STAR/FAST Progress Monitoring 2. Each teacher shared their testing dates in their newsletters before the break. Please make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and eats a healthy breakfast on their testing days. Remind them how important it is to do their best. This helps us measure their growth since the start of the school year.
In addition to testing, we have some exciting events coming up:
  • Book Fair: Tuesday, December 2 – Friday, December 5
  • Students must have the School Sponsored Activities Authorization Form completed to participate.
  • Click here to complete the form https://forms.gle/JwLyjaGygV4acu357
  • Family Night Winter Wonderland Carnival: Thursday, December 4, 5:30–7:30 PM
  • Join us for a fun evening with food trucks, Safety Patrol concessions, and free admission to the carnival! The Book Fair will also be open during the event.
  • Winter Concert: Friday Evening, 6:00 PM
  • Featuring performances by our Piano Club and Orchestra, this is a wonderful way to celebrate the season!
Thank you for your continued support in making Red Bug Elementary a great place to learn and grow!

As always, please reach out with any questions, concerns, or celebrations.

Kindly,

Dr. Teresa Thacker
